Toll Roasting
The customer provides his/her own green coffee and we agree on the desired roast profile.
Pricing structure depends on volumes and packaging format but is normally structured like this:
1. A roasting fee per kg of coffee.
2. A handling fee per bag or pouch that is packed and labelled.
3. A packaging material charge (we have standard materials in house that are charged at cost, but the customer can also provide his/her own materials).
4. An export preparation fee (typically 80 USD per export consignment) which includes:
– Packing slip
– Logistics invoice
– Certificate of origin
– Port health certificate
– Phytosanitary certificate
– KRA bond utilization and cancellation after export.

Being born out of a leading retail enterprise we have a great understanding of the dynamics and demands of grocery stores, supermarkets and B2B customers.
We currently supply private label products to more than 2000 stores in Europe.
We are certified up against the highest international food safety standards (FSSC22000), and ethical standards (SMETA, Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance, UTZ, EU Organic, US Organic).

We have a Quality Control Laboratory where we measure the different quality control parameters like Green coffee, sensory, roasting, and brewing.
We also offer Speciality Coffee Association Education to members of the roasting and quality teams.
1n 2022, we installed a Destoner/ Cleaner (green coffee cleaning and destoning system) that:
- Allows us to work with additional smallholders, especially from DR Congo.
- Allows us to provide better supplier feedback.
- Helps ensure our finished products are foreign material-free.
- Reduces grinder and roaster equipment maintenance costs.
